Emotions and emotional data are related to emotional intelligence (EI). It has received a lot of attention from scholars and human resource (HR) professionals due to its importance in fostering organizational excellence and effectiveness for both leaders and employees. Here, we discuss the theories of EI and examine the results to demonstrate the constructive relationships between EI, leaders, and workers. We wrap up by offering some ideas for further investigation into the function of EI in companies.
