In today's digital era, social media has become an essential business tool rather than merely a platform for entertainment and social interaction. For start-ups, a well-planned social media strategy plays a significant role in establishing brand identity, attracting potential customers, and creating opportunities for long-term growth. Entrepreneurs increasingly recognize that social media provides a cost-effective and efficient way to reach large audiences, build customer relationships, and compete with established businesses. Launching a start-up involves several challenges, including developing innovative products or services, acquiring initial customers, forming strategic partnerships, and managing limited financial resources. Social media platforms help address many of these challenges by enabling businesses to promote their offerings, communicate directly with consumers, gather customer feedback, and strengthen brand credibility. These platforms also provide opportunities for targeted marketing, community engagement, and increased visibility without requiring substantial marketing budgets.
This study examines the role of social media as a platform for start-ups and explores how entrepreneurs utilize various social media channels to support business development. It also investigates the contribution of platforms such as Facebook and Instagram in enhancing customer engagement, increasing brand awareness, and facilitating business growth. The findings are expected to provide insights into the importance of social media in the success and sustainability of modern start-ups.
