Retail distribution networks depend on accurate demand planning to maintain product availability across multiple geographic regions. Poor demand estimation may cause inventory shortages or excessive stock accumulation. This study examines demand planning models used in retail distribution systems. Sales history, seasonal demand variation, and regional consumption patterns were evaluated using statistical forecasting techniques. The findings indicate that structured demand analysis supports improved inventory allocation across regional warehouses.
