Abstract:
Urban deterioration, economic stagnation, and social disintegration are complicated issues that can be effectively addressed through mixed-use development and urban rejuvenation. This paper looks at how mixed-use development might improve metropolitan regions' overall quality of life. It examines the various advantages of mixed-use development, such as enhanced walkability, accessibility to facilities, social interaction, economic vibrancy, and environmental sustainability, based on real data and case studies. The study also addresses important implementation guidelines and tactics and emphasizes how community involvement and cooperation are critical to the success of long-term urban renewal projects.
