Abstract:
The study explores the potential anti-arthritic and anti-inflammatory effects of an ethanol extract from Mimosa pudica leaves in a rat model of arthritis induced by Complete Freud’s Adjuvant (CFA). The extract’s efficacy was evaluated by measuring key markers associated with inflammation and arthritis. The results revealed a significant reduction in inflammation and arthritis-related symptoms in the treatment group, suggesting the extract's strong anti-inflammatory properties. The findings highlight the therapeutic potential of Mimosa pudicas a natural remedy for arthritis, which could be attributed to its active phytochemicals like flavonoids and alkaloids. Further studies are needed to clarify the underlying mechanisms and explore their possible use in treating human arthritis.
