The number of educational resources in universities has been growing explosively during the past decades; some learners couldn’t access the educational resources conveniently although e-learning system could provide learning service access for learners. Also, the current Grid system couldn’t solve the problem of interoperability resource sharing and can’t provide reliability of service for learners. This has brought about the need to develop ways to effectively share and manage the resources available in the Grid system.
In this paper we propose a Grid-based model for modern e-education system. The grid-based e-learning model presented in this paper possesses the features that will facilitate efficient use of available resources leading to improvement of the overall quality of the operations of e-education.
The necessary of the study on the higher e-education based on grid is demonstrated. Then the infrastructure scheme is presented for reliability and efficiency to set up grid on e-education. It is described from the system constitutes, access model, service database management and resources library design for higher special education grid.
