The cement sector makes a sizable contribution to global carbon emissions, sustainability practices in this sector are essential for preserving the environment. The largest cement manufacturer in Nigeria, Dangote Cement PLC, has made several sustainability commitments as part of its corporate strategy. However, there hasn't been enough research done on how these practices affect corporate success and environmental preservation in Lagos State, Nigeria. The goal of this study is to evaluate how well Dangote Cement PLC's sustainability initiatives are working in Lagos State, Nigeria. This study is important because it has the potential to guide corporate decisions and inform legislation regarding sustainable practices in the cement sector, particularly in developing nations. The research findings might also contribute to the body of knowledge on corporate social responsibility and sustainability in high-emission industries. An extensive investigation of Dangote Cement's sustainability practices, their effects on the environment, and how they affect the company's financial success are all part of the research's content. The study will also examine how business activities strike a balance between economic, environmental, and social sustainability.
