This study examined the relationship between Quality Management Systems (QMS) and service delivery in selected Food and Beverage (F&B) companies in Rivers State, focusing on two key dimensions of QMS, Customer Focus, and Continuous Improvement, and two primary measures of service delivery, Service Reliability and Responsiveness. Employing a cross-sectional survey design, data were collected from a sample of 255 respondents using structured Likert-scale questionnaires. Descriptive statistics were used to profile respondents, while multiple regression analysis via SPSS tested the hypothesised relationships between QMS dimensions and service delivery outcomes. The findings reveal that all three QMS dimensions have significant positive effects on both Service Reliability and Responsiveness, with Customer Focus emerging as the strongest predictor. Continuous Improvement was also significant, indicating that organisations that systematically monitor, refine, and structure their operational processes are better able to deliver services accurately, consistently, and adaptively. These results validate the theoretical underpinnings of Total Quality Management theory, demonstrating that customer-oriented strategies, iterative process enhancements, and disciplined operational procedures collectively enhance service delivery in the F&B sector. The study concludes that the implementation of comprehensive QMS practices is critical for sustaining operational excellence, improving customer satisfaction, and enhancing organisational competitiveness in Rivers State. The findings provide practical guidance for managers, quality assurance professionals, and policymakers seeking to optimise service performance and establish robust quality frameworks in service-oriented organisations.
