There are discussed the main directions of grape secondary raw materials processing in the leading winemaking countries and the prospects of their application in Georgia.
In Georgia, every year, there are thrown 30-40 thousand tons of solid and liquid wastes of secondary raw materials, remaining after wine processing.  Unlike wine, grape processing wastes are enriched with bioactive, natural components having the curative-prophylactic purposes. By utilization of grape secondary resources remaining in unused reserve state, is increase the efficiency of wine production. G
