The LRS Bianchi type-II space time is investigated in the presence of a perfect fluid with quadratic equation of state and the cosmological constant Λ within the framework of the modified f(R,T) theory of gravity proposed by Harko et al. (2011). By adopting a suitable functional form f(R,T)=R+2f(T) and assuming an exponential behavior for the time dependent average scale factor a(t), the cosmological solution is derived. The physical characteristics of the resulting model are further analyzed through graphical representation.
